Who We Are
Rhythm of the Rockies takes Acappella harmony to the next level. We deliver fresh and exciting Acappella versions of your favourites - like jazz, top 40 hits, Broadway classics, heartfelt love songs and finely tuned barbershop numbers. We strive to connect with every audience and create unique musical experiences every time we perform. Our award-winning chorus performs 4-part harmony in the Calgary area as well as internationally. By dedicating our talents to the craft of Acappella performance, we have created a vocal community focused on musical excellence, entertainment and education. We are ordinary voices, creating extraordinary music.
We are a member-led choir of singers with all levels of musical experience. Our performers, from students to doctors, entrepreneurs to homemakers, come together with the ambitious desire to create near-perfect harmony. With compassion and dedication, we create a caring environment where members have the freedom to be themselves and develop their personal potential. By singing together every week, we build lasting relationships that go beyond the hours of rehearsals building a vibrant community of growth and acceptance.

Rhythm of the Rockies is proud to be a member chorus of SingUnited International (formerly Sweet Adelines International), one of the world's largest organizations dedicated to a cappella harmony. Through this affiliation, we connect with singers, educators, and coaches from across North America and around the world, gaining access to exceptional musical education, performance opportunities, and lifelong friendships.
As part of this global community, we participate in conventions, educational events, and competitions that encourage us to grow as singers and performers. Along the way, our chorus has earned international recognition, placing among the Top 20 barbershop choruses in the world on three occasions and winning first place in the Harmony Classic Small/Medium Chorus Division in Hawaii.
While we're proud of our achievements, what matters most is the sense of connection, belonging, and shared purpose that comes from making music together. Through SingUnited International, we're part of a worldwide network of people who believe in the power of harmony to inspire, challenge, and bring people together.
